After World War II ended my grandparents, Wes and Alice Youngs opened Wes Youngs Trailer Sales, selling and servicing mobile homes in Lansing, MI. Wes passed away in 1958, so Alice sold the dealership off to inventors and my Father, Bill Kitsmiller, went to work selling mobile homes for the investors. The investors closed the dealership in 1960 due to mismanagement.
My father being out of a job opened, along with my mother, Kitsmiller Mobile Home Sales in 1961. The location was in South Lansing. Mobile homes were selling kind of slowly so Bev & Bill started selling Travel Trailers & Truck Campers. They quickly changed over to all RVs within a year. They operated Kitsmiller RV until 1979 when they sold the business to a competitor in Lansing. He lasted about 1 ½ years before closed up leaving the property available for rent.
From 1980 to early 1982 Ron & Debbie Kitsmiller, operated a specialty used car dealership, and also started selling used class c motor homes. In 1982 we took on Midas Minis and quickly out grew that location, so we moved back to the original Kitsmiller RV location. From 1982 to 1995 we operated at the original South Lansing location, downsizing a lot after 1992. In 1995, we moved to current location to get away from the crime and high overhead. We currently operate on over 9 acres of land.

We also have a great Service Department to Assist in needs after you have purchaced your unit. We do not just sell you an RV we support and service every unit we sell.
